Jump Start Your New Fitness Routine!

One benefit as a new member is that you have the opportunity to work with a Certified Fitness Professional to have your fitness levels and personal goals evaluated. We will help you take your first steps into fitness!

Step 1: Assess Your Fitness Levels.

You will complete a Lifestyle Questionnaire and do a complete Fitness Evaluation. This will include blood pressure, measurements, muscular strength testing, flexibility testing, and lifestyle evaluation. We will discuss your results as well as your goals so that we can help you start off on the right track.

Step 2: Machine Orientation

Effective workouts require proper use of the fitness equipment. We will introduce you to the cardiovascular equipment, Cybex™ equipment and Precor™ stretch machines. We will help you develop correct posture and form, which is important for avoiding injury in the weight room.

Step 3: Complimentary Personal Training Session

A Certified Personal Trainer can help you reach your fitness goals quickly and effectively. A trainer will educate you on the importance of safety and proper technique. They will also show you dynamic and innovative exercises to incorporate into your weekly routine. Additional personal training sessions are available upon request.

Step 4: Follow-Up Sessions

At Pensacourt, we work hard to help guide you in setting beneficial, and practical fitness goals for yourself. Yet is just as important to monitor your ongoing progress, to ensure that you are reaching your objectives in a manner that is not only beneficial and safe, but changes along with your goals. For this reason, we highly encourage a follow-up review every 4-6 weeks so that we can track your progress, and make suggestions for changes to your workout plans to keep you feeling motivated! Keep in mind that there are no charges for these evaluation sessions and that they are one of the complimentary benefits of your Pensacourt membership!
